So, a while ago (Around last Halloween), my dad came home from a meeting, a bit annoyed, saying that the dishwasher at the restaurant (his other job he works at night) called in sick. He told me to put on an old t-shirt and some ratty jeans. Then, my career as a dishwasher began.
I had wanted a Wacom Cintiq for a while, and, on the 24th, I got one. I tried it out on the 25th, and it was fun to use! Even my mom got into it! I liked the fact that she got into it.

I'm Going to Be Chatting!
I'm going to be chatting on Superversive SF's channel in their Superversive Roundtable, discussing Romance in Science Fiction and Fantasy
That's going to start at 3PM Eastern Time Saturday, you can find it below. I'll be chatting with other authors, as I'm now a contributor to the site. Occasionally these get political (I don't know how much that's going to happen here) so be warned if that's not your cup of tea.
Anyways, I'll be chatting about how to add sugar and spice and everything nice in stories. I won't be talking as much, as there are people much more qualified than me to talk. Either way, your humble artist will be adding to it.

It's sad to say, but I'm quitting deviantArt for a while now.
It's nothing any of you did, but a personal thing. For a month at least, most likely more, I'm going to be taking a hiatus from this website.

Well, I got a laptop. A nice Asus laptop, and soon, I'm sinking some money into a desktop so I can use my bloody Cintiq. As part of my birthday gift (Thanks for all the well-wishes on that day :D ) I'm getting the Adobe Suite. So....you get to see me practice my digital painting skills! Unlucky you!

Now, I have a few things to rant about, so I'll make them quick, and I'll end on a sweet note. Two issues on the opposite ends of the love spectrum irked me.
One was V-Day. In other words, the feminazis' movement to replace Valentine's Day -a celebration of romantic love- with what they called V-Day. Violence Against Women Day. Now, I wouldn't have had a problem if it was the day before, or the day after, or any other non-holiday date. But it had to be Valentine's Day. Why? They don't like it. You got a Cintiq!? Wow. Makes me wanna jump on Amazon and order one right now, but there'd be no point to it, really; in the last couple years I've had a Wacom Bamboo and Intuos, the latter of which finally proved to my satisfaction that the only tablet I'm suited for is the art board kind (though I might give the Huion GT-190 a go). In any case, congratulations, and I'm looking forward to seeing your work. I love your mom's drawing.
